About Barbara Rose Billings, Ph.D.

As far back as I can remember, I have had a deep longing for God.

From this place of devotion, I entered a convent right out of high school, and for 30 years I supported people from all walks of life to deepen their connection with the Divine.

Due to an illness, I left my life as a Sister of Mercy and went on a healing journey to know God more deeply and to serve others in new ways. I had to reorient to everyday living and face the limiting beliefs that held me locked in duality, as well as clear patterning of the Church’s hierarchical influence. I used this time to both heal and grow in awareness through a wide range of modalities and spiritual callings: teacher/educator, energy healer, hypnotherapist, healing harpist, spiritual director, and prayer/meditation/retreat leader.

During this time I also met my husband and spent time developing an entirely new dimension of my life. God was now inviting me to learn how to receive support and love while being in partnership with my husband, as well as open up to a whole new world of friendships and spiritual collaborators.

It’s from this new foundation that I developed a 30 year private practice supporting others by empowering them to heal and live more fully in the Light of Presence on their journey to deeper union with God. Over the past 10 years, I continued to deepen both my spiritual life and my private practice: I was invited to become a Monastic and Ordained Spiritual Healer in Celebrating Life Ministries; I founded Spiritual Healing Meditations; I became a student at the Foundation for Spiritual Development; and I joined the Oneness Golden Age Movement Community on the Shakti Paath of Ekam Meditators and Smarana Deeksha givers.

My yearning to grow deeper in God has no limits. I am continually encouraged to surrender and focus on a minute to minute ‘YES’ to God’s will. When I enter this sacred, prayerful space, I am a servant and healer which is why my clients experience profound shifts and heart openings. I am merely the channel for each person to receive the healing and spiritual guidance that attunes to their unique spiritual journey. I thank God every day for this life, for all the people who I am connected to, and for the power of prayer in healing our planet.
